  • P0.93 ➔ Standard for mainstream high-end cinemas (the premium commercial sweet spot)

  • P1.25 ➔ Deployed in large-format auditoriums with significant seating depth

👉 In practice, sub-1.0mm is used when seating distance is under ~3 meters, where the individual pixel structure must fully disappear to the eye.
