The SkyDome jumbotron is one of the first large-scale stadium screens that set a precedent for modern digital displays. It was first installed at SkyDome which is now Rogers Centre. With this display, fans got to experience real-time video playback and live game stats.
Recents jumbotrons have now been upgraded with advanced LED technology to improve the brightness, resolution and energy efficiency. Now while the original structure of the SkyDome jumbotron might have evolved, a massive, high-definition stadium screen is still a staple in sports venues.
