This is where most non-AV buyers get it wrong.
In real system design, LED wall size is not chosen randomly—it is driven by:
1) Viewing distance
- closer viewing → smaller pixel pitch required
- further viewing → larger pitch acceptable
2) Content resolution target
- 1080p / 4K playback requirement
- control room multi-window layouts
- signage vs detailed content
3) Aspect ratio constraints
- 16:9 (most common for video content)
- custom ratios for architecture or branding walls
4) Physical space & structure
- wall dimensions
- load-bearing capacity
- installation method (front service / embedded / hanging)
AV engineer logic:
You don’t “pick a size”—you design the system around viewing distance + content + space.
